Gp not updating
Some obligatory warnings: Now that we’ve gotten all the disclaimers and warnings out of the way, how do you actually do this?Something like a request to set the sales tax options for all inventory items to be ‘base on customers’ is pretty straightforward and I am not going to discuss that here.I've seen this a few times and it's usually been a profile problem.Delete (or rename) the affected profile folder and the corresponding registry items for the user (HKLM\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\profilelist\s-1-5-21-xxxxx), and try logging them in again.then go into Regedit and remove that user from the profilelist and restart the computer and log in as the user and there you go new GP's downloaded from the server and everything is fine.just make sure to back up all user files and anything else they want cause it will all be deleted when you do this. Ok fixed this problem just in case anyone else ever has it here was the fix I cam up with.1st I have no idea why half the computers did this but the easy fix was to log in to the users computer as the domain admin.
moved all the files to the new R2 server and told the GP that the new home folder was on the new R2 server.just make sure to back up all user files and anything else they want cause it will all be deleted when you do this. I would like to start by saying that I do not normally advocate updating Dynamics GP data directly in SQL Server.I have never seen anything like this, anyone got some idea's. You say if you log into their pc everything works like it should. Is it configured for user or computer configuration? If you think the number of posts you have coincides with your status you are wrong. If your post doesn't help the requester and only starts a flame war think before replying.Have you tried having one of them log into your pc? If you are moderator and contribute to these things you should have your privileges revoked.
